At Parkwood Care a children’s home is exactly that. A Home.

It quickly becomes a place where young people can grow, develop and flourish in an environment that respects their individuality whilst also guiding them appropriately into adulthood.

Every human being is different, and at Parkwood we create a unique and bespoke offer for all our young people. From referral to assessment through to placement our therapeutic approach is underpinned by trauma and attachment aware policies and our staff are trained to the highest level. We care for and support our young people every step of the way.

Monica Grove

Monica Grove is a mansion-terraced building situated in the Manchester area, identical to the other mansion terraced buildings in the road and does not stand out as different from any other ‘family- style’ home in the road.

There are no obvious features that identify it as a children's home. It is approximately three miles from Manchester Town Centre and within easy reach of leisure and social facilities and places of religious observance.

Pennine Rd

Pennine Road is a 5-bedroom link-detached home near Glossop, offering easy access to leisure facilities, social venues, and places of worship. Situated on a spacious corner plot, the property features off-road parking for multiple vehicles and a well-maintained lawn.

The private breakfast garden is fully enclosed and secluded, while the landscaped rear courtyard includes a covered seating area for various activities.

Activities

Young people are encouraged to undertake activities both as a group and individually. We provide opportunities to develop leisure interests which are appropriate for the young person’s abilities, culture, race, religion and language.
